Who We Are
James Gibson
Coming from a background of predominantly office scanning and printing, James quickly moved into the software products that have become commonplace in the office. Configuration of software for document management and workflow, intelligent scanning and print retrieval systems. In 2003 James started Essentia, an IT centric business helping many businesses across the South with their day to day IT, this was the basis of what is now hjs|essentia. James’ expertise leans towards the application space, and end user experience, with qualifications from Document specialists like INVU, eCopy and Canon.
Kevin Tilyard
Having spent many years as the Technical Director for an IT business, Kevin made the decision to broaden his horizons in 2006. As a founder of hjs|essentia, Kevin brings infrastructure, server expertise and experience. Kevin’s skill sets lean towards the nuts and bolts of your IT systems. His qualifications come from the highest end manufacturers, such as Microsoft and Cisco.
Simon Gale
Has been dealing in the communications sector for over 10 years, prior to which spent 3 years in IT. Initially working for a telecoms company in Basingstoke he branched out to set up his own communications company. Using his varied experience in telecommunications and VOIP, Simon architects communications solutions utilizing the latest technology for our clients.
Gareth Stokes
Gareth has responsibility for the financial control and much of the business operations of our ICT service. Gareth qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992, and specialises in providing corporate advice to owners of small and medium sized companies, in a variety of business sectors
Steven Brackstone
Our IT Support manager has been in the industry for 10 years and has been Microsoft Certified since 2001, he specializes in small business network environments, and has spent many years developing not only his technical ability but also his customer relationship skills to offer our customers a friendly and informed service.
